Sixth Street Shelter & Daybreak

We are still supporting Sixth Street Shelter and its need for NEW twin size bedding and NEW bath and kitchen linens.

Daybreak has resumed serving breakfast and lunch to its clients. To go items are no longer needed, but they would appreciate bottled water and snack size chips. They still need BINGO Prizes and craft supplies.

Collection bins are in Fellowship Hall. Thank you.

Blanket Project

Our annual blanket project raises funds to purchase blankets for Church World Service. Here's an update on Salem's Blanket Fund!

The project started way before COVID affected us but this valuable mission project will continue through September. Each $5 donation buys one blanket which aids people around the world affected by disasters. For folks who are still staying safe at home, blanket donations as well as your regular offerings may be sent in to or dropped off at the the church office. Salem UCC and our Missions committee thanks you for your support.
